29/12/02 Fellow Australian gamer Simon Ford has a great sitededicated to WW2 gaming. He features sections on What's New,Snippets, Battle reports, Gallery, Reviews and Links. A very graphical site with lots of useful links to photos and other sites. In particular check out Simon's Links page.

The Britannia Miniatures page is very useful for modelling and gaming purposes. It features colour photos of all their ranges.

28/12/02 A Canadian Military history site with loads of official reports on WW2actions involving Canadian forces. Detailed accounts for NW Europe of particular interest. Also check outPen and Sword Books(UK) for there upcoming Battleground Europe titles for NW Europe.

21/12/02 An excellent OperationEpsom mega-game in 15mm for Spearhead rules. Includes special rules, orders of battle and maps. Could be easily adapted toRapid Fire. Also a link to theWargames Jounalsite including asample issuewith some RF links, e.g. a D-Day photo section and a "Tigers in theSnow" scenario for the Battle of the Bulge. Promise to have more RFin the future (only available to subscribers)

25/1/02 I'm currently reading "Citizen Soldiers" by StephenAmbrose. I don't have a US army (both my friends Brad and Bob havethough). Lot's of good info about both US and German doctrine. Irevisited the Fire and Fury WW2 website recently and found some goodresources for late war gaming - potentially of use to RF players. Latewar orders of battle and Unit quality in zip and pdf formats.Alsoscenariosdesigned for Battlefront but some large enough to be easily convertedto RF.

TOMMY : The BritishSoldier in Combat Mission (23/12/01) This site providesinformation and imagery for the computer game Combat Mission.Includes vehicle markings for British vehicles. The game is excellentand plays very much like a Computerised Rapid Fire game. I have justconverted my Hill 112 scenario to this format and have played thegame several times. I plan to convert some of the CM scenarios toRapid Fire and will post them on this site as available. Details ofthe game available for PC and MAC (on the same CD) can be found atwww.battlefront.com

Game Design HomePage (10/3/01) A massive site with lots of information for gamingthe Normandy Campaign using Command Decision 3 and the assortedplaying aids available on the site. Highly recommended for the Mapsavailable for the Normandy area. Also has a sample Pegasus Bridgescenario. Bill Owen who runs this site has done a mighty effort onproducing practical aids for wargamers - well illustrated throughout.
