This was our second game of the "Kampfgruppe Von
Luck Counter-attack" (Defence of Ranville) scenario from the Colin Rumford
campaign guide for D-Day.

The photo above shows the 9' x 5' table with Ranville at the bottom right
and the Orne bridge leading to Pegasus Bridge at the right. The German
counterattack was from the top left.
Essentially this was the scenario as written but
with the following changes:
(1) staggered arrival for German forces
- turn 1 - German II / 125th Regiment
- turn 2 - Regimental HQ + I / 155th Panzer
Artillery Regiment
- turn 4 - 21st Panzer Recon Battalion
- turn 5 - 4th Company, 22nd Panzer Regiment
- turn 6 - 6 Commando
- turn 7 - A Squadron, 13/18th Hussars (1 x
Firefly, 1 x DD Sherman)
(2) 9 move game
